How do I purchase some of your art?

There are several ways to do this. You can come see me at an art show. (Check my schedule here.) You can also order online. Take a look at my gallery. Many originals are still available and you can order prints of most items. Simply send me an e-mail and let me know which picture(s) you want.

Where do you get your ideas?

My ideas come from a number of sources. Sometimes I'll get an idea for an image from pictures in a magazine or by some of my favorite artists. Occasionally, my husband will give me a starting point for an image and I'll take it from there. For the most part, I don't plan out my drawings. I just start with a basic body shape and see where it takes me.

How long does it take you to complete a picture?

A small pencil drawing may take as little as an hour to complete while larger drawings can take several months. Paintings usually require bits of painting and then allowing each layer to dry, so these can often take days to months to complete.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I'll accept checks and money orders, but I will not ship your item(s) until the check has cleared. I can accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. You may also pay through Paypal using shellyrae1@gmail.com. If you purchase art from me in person, I will accept cash.

Do you deliver?

I provide free delivery to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex for orders over $100. Anything else will have to be shipped or picked up.
